Why Bukavilla exists
I built this for my own villas first.
I'm Prashanth. I grew up in Hyderabad, I live in Dallas, and last year I went to Bali and fell for the place and the people. I bought a villa in Ubud. Over the next year I bought three more.
What I didn't love was losing a cut of every booking to a platform that also told me how to run my own house. So I built my own direct-booking site.
It worked — except no guest could find it.
Then I met other owners and found the same thing everywhere: good direct sites, scattered and invisible. Bukavilla puts them in one place, where a guest can search, compare, read real reviews and talk to the owner.
We're early, and that's the offer: the hosts who join now are the ones this gets built around.
