Create a rental agreement

Bukavilla can generate a professional, branded rental agreement for a stay. There are two ways to make one.

The free generator — anyone, no account

Anyone can create a rental agreement in a few minutes at bukavilla.com/tools/rental-agreement — no signup, no payment. Fill in the parties, property, dates, payment, deposit, house rules and cancellation policy, and download a PDF. Use it for a one-off, for a stay booked anywhere (Airbnb, Booking.com, or direct), or just to see what a good agreement looks like.

From a booking — for your Bukavilla stays

On a direct booking, most of the agreement fills in from the booking itself, so there's very little to type.

1. Open the booking (Bookings → the booking). Under the payment section you'll find the Rental agreement card.
2. Tap Preview agreement to see a filled sample of that exact booking — parties, dates, payment, deposit, house rules and cancellation are already in place.
3. Walk the short steps to confirm the details and add the few things a booking doesn't contain (security-deposit conditions, any custom clauses). What you type is saved as your defaults, so the next agreement is even faster.
4. Generate — the agreement is frozen at that moment, so it can't change afterwards.
5. Download it, or Send to guest. Sending emails the guest a link to review and accept.

Guest acceptance

When you send an agreement, the guest opens a link, reads the full document, and taps I have read and agree. The booking's card then shows Accepted, with the date it was accepted. (The free standalone generator above is document-only — it doesn't track acceptance.)

What's included

Every agreement covers the parties, the property, the term (check-in/out dates and times), payment and any security deposit, your house rules, your cancellation policy, and standard clauses (liability, severability, entire agreement). You can add your own clauses, and everything is yours to edit.

A note on legality

The agreement is a customizable template, not legal advice — you (the host) are the contracting party, and Bukavilla is not a party to it. Rental laws vary by location, so have a licensed attorney in your area review the wording before you rely on it. A disclaimer to this effect appears on every agreement.
