“The villa is great. It looks exactly like the photos and the description matches what we found on arrival. The hosts are friendly and the service is good.
The only thing that could have been explained a bit better is the location. You really need a scooter here. Apart from the beach, there is basically nothing within walking distance. The beach itself is more of a local fishing beach than a place to relax.
You can rent a scooter from the hosts, and I would highly recommend doing so. There are no taxis in the area, and most places you are likely to visit are some distance away, so without your own transport you are quite limited.
One thing to keep in mind is that the calls to prayer from nearby mosques are clearly audible, with the first one starting around 4:30 AM. This is common in this part of Bali. We eventually got used to it and could sleep through it.
Other than that, this is a beautiful villa and we really enjoyed our stay.”

“The place is exactly as described. The only thing I’ll note is it’s about 10-15 minutes drive from town. You have to have a car or scooter or you won’t be able to eat as there’s nothing to walk to. There is technically a beach a few minutes away but it’s for local fishing people not for hanging out at.
Additionally there was loud music in the area for the entire week we were there. Apparently there was a wedding going on but it meant loud bassy music throughout the day and well into the night.
Also, the call to prayer from the local
Mosques is very noticeable beginning at 5:00 am. We live in Egypt so are used to it but it’s something to be aware of.
Between the call to prayer and wedding music, we slept with earplugs in every night.”
