Listing management

Where to edit

  • Desktop: /dashboard/villas/[id] — tabbed interface, one tab per section
  • Mobile: /m/(owner)/listings/[id] — same content, mobile layout

Each tab handles one part of the listing. Changes save per-tab; you don't need to commit the whole listing at once.

Tabs and what they control

  • Basic info — title, tagline, description, city. The description is plain text; line breaks render. Lead with what makes your villa unique.
  • Capacity — bedrooms, bathrooms, max guests. Used for guest filtering at search.
  • Media — photos, videos, virtual tours. Bukavilla supports YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Vimeo, Matterport, Kuula, and direct image URLs. Up to three featured items can be marked.
  • House rules (/dashboard/villas/[id]/rules or mobile equivalent) — pets, smoking, events, quiet hours, max guests, free-text rules.
  • Pricing (/dashboard/villas/[id]/pricing) — see Pricing help.
  • Calendar — see Calendar and availability help.
  • iCal — paste an external iCal URL to import availability from Airbnb / VRBO / Booking.
  • Danger zone — unpublish or delete the listing.

Photos and media

Photos are added by URL — you host the images yourself, or use a service. Bukavilla doesn't currently provide upload-and-host. Reorder by drag; the first photo is the cover.

For best results:

  • High resolution (1920px or larger on the long edge)
  • Bright, daytime shots of every room
  • A wide cover shot that establishes the property at a glance
  • Include outdoor, pool, kitchen, bedrooms, and any standout features

For 3D and virtual tours, paste the Matterport or Kuula URL into Media. The listing embeds them inline.

Description

Plain text with line breaks. No formatting. Open with what makes your villa unique — proximity to landmarks, beach access, view, design, history. Then list practical details — parking, kitchen equipment, pool size, local restaurants. Guests read top to bottom; put your strongest hook first.

Status

Listings have three states:

  • Live — visible in search, bookable
  • Draft — only you can see it; not in search
  • Unpublished — hidden from search but data preserved (use this if you want to pause bookings without losing your setup)

To take a villa live, finish onboarding and the wizard moves it to live automatically. To unpublish later, use the danger zone.

Deleting a villa

Available in the danger zone. Outstanding bookings must be settled first. Deletion is permanent — the listing, messages, reviews, and calendar history go with it. If you might come back, prefer unpublished instead.
