Zen Hideaway 3: Valley-View Teak Pavilion

“A very unique and charming cabin in a luxury nature-camp setting. The mountain location, beautiful views, and sound of the nearby spring make it a very relaxing place to stay. If you enjoy being close to nature and are comfortable with insects and geckos, this place is a great fit. The main issue for us was the condition and maintenance of the wooden cabin. During our stay, a considerable amount of wood dust and small debris fell from the wooden structure every day, including onto the floor, sofa, and sink. Overall, we enjoyed the natural environment, but better maintenance and pest control would significantly improve the experience.”

“Great stay in this unique house. The views are absolutely stunning - outlook over the river and jungle. The house was as described, open, wooden - which was what we wanted. Comfortable beds and lounging spots and a nice quiet area outside of Ubud. The river is loud - this would be my comment to add - as you're above the weir. So if you're someone who needs silence for sleep, plan accordingly!”
