“Expect an experience that is rare and memorable. This is living outdoors on the edge; the edge of deck, the edge of the canyon, the edge of the Ubud life, and edge of some people's comfort zone. Think camping with wifi and private hot shower and 150 year old wooden walls. For me it was bliss - the changing view, the sound of waterfalls (dam below) and occasional scream from the Bali swing experience up the road. At my next villa now and feels like it's back to civilisation. Miss it already.”

“Great stay in this unique house. The views are absolutely stunning - outlook over the river and jungle. The house was as described, open, wooden - which was what we wanted. Comfortable beds and lounging spots and a nice quiet area outside of Ubud. The river is loud - this would be my comment to add - as you're above the weir. So if you're someone who needs silence for sleep, plan accordingly!”
