“Unfortunately, we did not have the best stay and ultimately reduced our booking. Before arrival, I contacted the host about recent negative reviews and was reassured that cleanliness would be addressed, with cleaning provided every day. Sadly, this did not happen. The property was cleaned only twice during our stay of 1 week, and the second clean was only after we requested it. We should have stayed 1 month. On arrival we found dirty/worn towels and linen. The towels were eventually replaced, but the property itself is tired, with a bathroom needing attention, including rust, mould and cracked tiles. The main bed and sofa also need replacing. The staff on the ground were lovely and the location is excellent, with good restaurants nearby. However, given the price, we felt the property needs significant investment to offer better value. The host acknowledged our concerns about the photos / description of the 2 bed units not being clear and has since updated these.”
