“The villa was exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, smelled great, and very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay overall. However, there are a few things I wish had been clearer. Although the listing mentions 24/7 support, after 5 PM responses were much slower, and if someone needed to come to the villa, it took around 20 minutes. Thank you to the staff member who came to remove the gecko—I really appreciated it. I just wish this had been explained from the beginning. The housekeeper also left the door open a few times, which led to a lizard getting inside. The pool could be cleaner. Rats around the pool 💔. The bidet water first had a sewage smell; after the filter was changed, it had an extremely strong chlorine smell. The location is in a quieter part of Canggu, about a 40-minute walk from most places. Lastly, charging 700,000 IDR for only a 3-4 hour late check-out, and strongly refusing check-out at 2pm.. after a 16-day stay felt unreasonable. I won’t repeat or recommend staying there”
