“This place is really run down (not just in looks but also functionality) and was extremely dirty when we arrived. When I asked if someone could clean it I got no response for a long time. Then they told me I can’t expect more from a budget place. Like more than not to contract a contagious decease?? 🥲 I also asked them if they had construction nearby before booking and they said no but it wasn’t true. The whole neighborhood felt really unsafe to me and Grab drivers refuse to go down the alley because it’s tiny. We booked for 3 nights but left after 1, asap. They even asked us to check out at 10 instead of 11, super impolite. I’ve lived in Bali for 4 years but have never been treated like this, it’s clearly not under Balinese management.”
