The Concierge TV welcome screen

Bukavilla Concierge turns any TV into a living welcome screen for your guests — greeting them by name, showing your Wi-Fi, pointing them to good spots nearby, and rotating your best photos. You control everything from the Bukavilla app, and you never touch the TV again after pairing it once.

It's free, and you don't need to list a villa on Bukavilla to use it.

Try it in your browser (30 seconds)

Nothing to install — this works on any laptop or phone browser.

  1. Go to bukavilla.com/concierge/start.
  2. Tap Preview a live example to open a real concierge screen in a new tab — exactly what a guest sees on the TV.
  3. Or tap Create my free welcome screen, give it a name (add your Wi-Fi if you like), and it's yours — no sign-up.

You can even open bukavilla.com/tv in a second browser tab and pair that tab as if it were a TV, to walk through the whole flow end to end.

Set it up on a real TV (2 minutes)

Works with any smart TV, Fire Stick, Chromecast, or Android box.

  1. Get the app. Install Bukavilla for iPhone or Android, then open Concierge → Create screen. Set a name and, optionally, your Wi-Fi and a welcome message.
  2. On the TV, open the pairing page. Go to bukavilla.com/tv — in the Concierge TV app or the TV's own web browser. A 6-character code appears.
  3. Enter the code in the app. Tap Enter TV code, type the code, and hit Pair. The TV switches to your welcome screen and stays there.

No app on hand? Open bukavilla.com/tv in the TV's browser and pair the code from any phone — no login needed.

What your guests see

  • Their name — a warm "Welcome, Sarah", pulled in automatically when the booking is known.
  • Wi-Fi, big and scannable — network and password in large type, plus a QR code to join without typing.
  • Local attractions — nearby spots with a directions QR, auto-filled from your screen's city.
  • Today's weather — current local conditions in the top bar, next to the clock.
  • Rotating photos — your best shots on a gentle loop, at a pace you set.
  • QR codes for anything — a house manual, a driver's WhatsApp, a review link, or any URL you choose.

Keep your screen

A screen works the moment you create it, with no account. When you're ready, tap Save your welcome screen and add your email — that lets you manage it from any device later, not just the one you started on. Everything carries over; nothing resets.

Which TVs work

There's a dedicated app for Amazon Fire TV, Android TV / Google TV, LG (webOS), and Samsung. For anything else, open bukavilla.com/tv in the TV's own browser, or cast from a Chromecast or Fire Stick. There's no hardware to buy.

Common questions

Do I need to list a villa on Bukavilla? No. The concierge is free and stands on its own. If you do list, guest names and stay dates fill in automatically — but it works for any home or room without a listing.

The TV just shows a code — now what? That's exactly right: the code means the TV is ready to pair. Open the app, tap Enter TV code, and type it in. The screen switches over within a few seconds.

Where do the local attractions come from? They're found automatically for your screen's city. A brand-new city takes a few seconds to populate the first time — you'll see a brief "finding places nearby" note, then real spots appear. You can override them per screen.

How do guests connect to Wi-Fi? Two ways at once: the network name and password in large, readable type, and a QR code they can scan to join instantly without typing anything.
