“Wow! Maruti Lane Villa was such a delightful place to stay. The property is in the middle of everything Ubud, and my 20-something kids thought this was fabulous. And since the villa sits at the end of an alley, it feels completely private and peaceful--no noise from passing vehicles or crowds. The rooms are spacious and quirky, which we love. The little pool was a perfect spot for cooling off after a day exploring Monkey Forest, the Royal Palace, or the market. The house staff were kind and responsive. and Ibu Putri in particular was extremely helpful and cheerful. if you love coffee, check out F.R.E.A.K. nearby on Jalan Hanoman. and for the most splendid meal with a stunning atmosphere, go to Murni's Warung on Jalan Raya Ubud. It's a decent walk from the villa, but it is worth it. Ask to sit on the lowest level and try the rendang or Murni's ayam tutu.”
