“We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay at Sumberkima Hill Retreat and would have loved to stay longer. Traveling with our two small children (3.5 and 1.5 years), we found it perfect for relaxation. The combination of a private villa with a pool, a kitchen, and two excellent restaurants on-site was ideal. The service was outstanding, the food delicious, and the grounds and views were magnificent. A snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island, booked through the retreat, was a highlight. Although we couldn't take full advantage of the yoga, spa, and excursions due to the children's ages, the retreat offers many wonderful activities. A shuttle or local taxi easily takes you to the beach or town. The villa itself is simple and rustic, with outdoor bathrooms and cozy spaces for the children to play. The living room was a bit dim in the evening, but overall the atmosphere was charming. We would return anytime and highly recommend the retreat to others!”

Tropical calm in Sumberkima Hill

Villa Nandini buzzes with a rejuvenating spiritual energy. Often associated with the Kamdhenu, the holy cow of plenty within Hindu mythology, Villa Nandini seeks to draw your attention inward as you reflect on your journey thus far. This 2 bedroom villa is a treat for the senses and mind as it offers the most surreal views of Sumberkima from each point. It overlooks the Barat National Park from the top terrace and the lounge, allowing you to bird watch in a leisurely way. The pool area is tucked away, creating a bubble where you can relax and forget the rest of the world. The kitchen and lounge area has windows on 3 sides which can be opened all the way, allowing the glorious views to seep in. Below the house is a veranda with a swing bed and loungers by the pool. Welcome to the lap of luxury, where fine living meets organic abundance. Bedroom 1: one double bed Bedroom 2: three single beds
