“We booked two villas at Misane Serenity and had a lovely stay overall. • Beautiful, aesthetic villas • Very clean and well maintained • Peaceful riverside setting surrounded by nature • Good breakfast every morning • Nano was an amazing, respectful and helpful host A few things to know before booking: • No water dispenser or complimentary bottles were provided • Bottled water costs IDR 5,000 each • The villa is around 500 metres from the main road • Most drivers may not come down the access road as it is very narrow • The walk is scenic, but steep, slippery and poorly lit at night • My mother slipped and fell on our final evening • Grab and Gojek are available, but delivery charges can be high • Sightseeing is easier with a private driver It is far from Bali’s chaos, but also far from convenience. The nearby river ceremonies add a beautiful local touch. Overall, we really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and would recommend it to guests looking for nature, privacy and a quiet stay.”
