Villa Alila

“Our stay at the villa was okay - not great. We felt that the villa did need some maintenance - for example a lot of the cushions and the sun loungers were very stained. The beautiful parasols were also ripped. Generally, the villa was furnished nicely, but did not feel homely. It also wasn’t very practical - for example you cannot walk to the bath tub without having to go across very sharp uncomfortable stones underfoot. The villa is part of a larger resort complex which we thought would be convenient but on the first night we were severed completely raw (100% raw, not just pink) chicken. The common resort areas were also in need of maintenance and I thought it was sad that the buggy’s they use to transport guests around in were old and the exhaust fumes were awful - most resorts use electric buggy’s now. Much better. The resort can arrange some excursions like snorkeling, etc. and we did enjoy that. Overall the stay was”
